Introductory Pricing
 
These introductory rates reflect the early days of Lost & Found Photographic as I build my collection of work and invite more people into the beautiful, unpredictable process of wet plate photography.
 
The work is made with the same care and attention to detail that will always be at the heart of the studio. For now, these prices offer an opportunity to have a one-of-a-kind tintype made while helping me grow this little photographic practice.

Tintype 4x5

A small, intimate portrait made by hand in natural or studio light. Each tintype is individually exposed, developed, and finished, creating a one-of-a-kind photograph with the character of something from another time.

What's included?

  • One original hand-crafted 4 x 5 tintype plate

  • A high-resolution digital scan for sharing and printing

  • Outdoor natural-light or studio session

Tintype 5x7

The 5 × 7 tintype is a wonderful introduction to the process of wet plate photography. Made outdoors in natural light or in studio, each portrait is carefully exposed and hand-finished to create a one-of-a-kind photograph with the character and depth that makes tintypes so special.

A beautiful choice for an individual portrait, a couple, or simply experiencing the magic of the process.

What's included?

  • One original hand-crafted 5 × 7 tintype plate

  • A high-resolution digital scan for sharing and printing

  • Outdoor natural-light or studio session

Tintype 8x10

The 8 × 10 is our largest tintype — made to be displayed, passed down, and looked at for years to come. Photographed outdoors in natural light or in studio, each plate captures the quiet beauty and unmistakable character of the wet plate process.

A substantial portrait with a timeless, one-of-a-kind quality.

What's included?

  • One original hand-crafted 8 x 10 tintype plate

  • A high-resolution digital scan for sharing and printing

  • Outdoor natural-light or studio session

Heirloom Photo Booth

A little piece of photographic history, made for your celebration.

Our Heirloom Photo Booth brings the magic of 19th-century photography to your event. Guests are invited to step in for a one-of-a-kind tintype portrait, photographed and developed by hand on location.

Each image is made individually on metal, creating a truly unique keepsake that guests can take home and treasure long after the celebration is over.

Perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, parties, and any occasion worth remembering.

What's included?

  • 5 hrs minimum and up to 20 tintype images (4x5 format) 

  • A completely analog photo experience

  • Each original tintype image is finished and varnished at our studio and mailed out to your guests after the celebration. 

  • High-resolution digital scans are sent to the hosts after the celebration

Heirloom add-on  ~  $400

  • Two 8x10 tintypes created especially for/of the hosts, newlyweds, or honourees.

  • High-resolution digital scans for sharing and printing

I’ll bring the camera, chemistry, and everything needed to create one-of-a-kind tintype portraits on location.
